Hoe anders begin ‘n naweek as met ‘n pap wiel en verdwaal…net die manier om spanbou te begin! 26 vrywilligers neem Hakuna Matata oor by die Vaal rivier. Word ook nie afgeskrik deur reën of donderweer nie.

Eers die koppie uitgestap en die uitsig bewonder… Dan na aan die natuur om boom te klim…nie net enige boom, maar met toue en dit was nogal hoog. Party kry dit maklik reg om soos bobbejane te klim, maar van ons moes die vrees van hoogte in die oë kyk. Daar sien jy dat die volunteers mekaar aanmoedig en op elkeen se poging so trots is. Dan is daar die avontuur stap – ‘n hoogtepunt vir die meeste..saam is ons deur strome, oor klippe, klou aan toue en deur modder. En die beste is hoeveel ons almal gelag het!

Daar was ook perd ry en bietjie cowboy speel met windbuks, pyl en boog.

Heeltyd was nie net speeltyd nie – wonderlike idees is uitgeruil vir die groei van SOAPkidz en dat elke volunteer ‘n plekkie het. Dit was ‘n naweek wat ons aangespoor het en opgewonde maak vir wat die jaar voorlę… die begin om iets te gee vir die kinders en die omgewing!

Dankie julle almal en elke nuwe vriend wat gemaak is in SOAPkidz .Ons kan bymekaar inhak en stroom op gaan want saam maak ons ‘n verskil!

To show our appreciation SOAPkidz has once again arranged a fun filled adventure weekend at Hakuna Matata.

If you have ever dreamed about a weekend where you will make great friends whilst trying your hand at horse riding, river rafting, hiking, target shooting etc, etc, etc – Now is your chance!
